1. I believe that the message he's trying to send is one of hope. He starts off the speech with an overview of our problems, and that promises that we will meet said problems head on.
2. Obama is a professional speaker. He is one of the most personable, well spoken people i've ever seen make a speech. He's very calm and makes plenty of eye contact.
3. I would rate it an 8. The only reason it wasn't a 9 or a 10 was thefact that I don't believe he said anything along the lines of FDR's "A day that will live in infamy"- a meaningful, resonating phrase.
4. The crowd was interference, as well as wind.
5. Get a more resonating phrase to make me remember this speech forever.
